Driven down I imagine, far cheaper to do so!

Very true. If they are taxed, MOT'd and serviceable why put them on low loaders? It's only 200 miles away and if they can't do that without failing, I'd be very concerned if I was the depot manager.

Many years ago, I saw a convoy of New York City Transit buses being delivered to their new owner - a small town in northern California.

Must have been on loan to Romford Depot as until September all six were based at Kanleigh Bridge Depot for route 356.

All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles

16/17's route has been fairly busy today. Lots of passengers happy to see the service back, despite bus stop timetables not being updated and limited press coverage to inform people that the route is back up and running. The extended route has lead to plenty of dwelling time on route. Most driver swaps happen by the roundabout in Higher Beb near Kings Road. Mix of Enviro 200's and longer vehicles. The Raby Mere part is awkward for longer vehicles. The 22 serving the Sandbrook Estate has helped many people without a bus and has also been popular on the first day.
