I dont think that there would of been job losses reason being route 2 went from every 40 mins to every 30 after arriva withdrew, also the 2 was rerouted adding extra time to it, so extra stagecoach buses were needed for the route & which meant more drivers, be nice if chester could obtain gold vehicles for 2, the 6 moved because of space at chester, plus recently at chester have taten on 9/x9 all day routes so even more there now

That would make sense but what moved then for the 9/X9/109/209 to move in? Yes they won the SPs and the Ruthins which made sense at the time but now the 9s have moved in as well so there obviously was space as nothing moved out for the 9s to come in.

But Chester only runs 2 vehicles on the 2 and the 6 only uses 2 vehicles to move the 2 wholey to Rock Ferry and the 6 back to Chester. 2 vehicles for 2 vehicles but Chester would come better off as 2 solos are smaller than 2 enviro 300s. At least that way, the 2s are more likely to be full gold. And the solos are an inconvenience to Rock Ferry as they have the 2 for the 6 and 1 for schools. If the 2 for the 6 moved out, surely that last 1 for the school could be dart or Enviro200 making more sense from a maintenance point of view as well.

The Chester Golds still advertise the 1/2 as every 10 minutes I noticed other day! They should have been removed last year

The thing is even if the diagrams that Chester operate went back to RF there still isnt enough Gold vehicles to cover all the diagrams so vehicles from Chester would have to come with the transfer.

As posted before, 19569 is out on the X8, managed a shot or two of it at Chester (and later at Port Sunlight on it's return).....pleased to see that it's still proudly advertising Dartmouth on the rear too, guess that won't stay on for long!

Didn't see any of the other three (19570-2), not even visible in the depot either.....two of the other X8's were still in the hands of MMC's 10831 & 10835.

I’ve seen this morning at Chester Bus Station, then back again just before 13.30pm. Look a good condition and clean. I never had ride yet. May be hopefully next week. I saw you walking just passed iceland before 10.30am on the way to Bus staton.

Haha I'm known lol.....just been for my coffee fix at Costa, also noted 47326 out on the 51/53, not seen that in Chester before. I too intend to have a trip on one of these on the X8, have been on 19571 in Torquay last year. Got 19569 on it's way back to Chester by Port Sunlight later....

Currently on 19571 on the X2 now, very comfy seats on it seems pretty smooth as well
