I do know that many a time the 1 and 2 have had to wait for the stand to be vacated at Birkenhead Bus Station , Merseytravel take a very dim view of any passengers being dropped off away from the official bus stop in the Bus Station.

And some passengers take a dim view of being stuck on a bus waiting ages to alight because of inadequate designs of bus stations.

When Bay 5 was used at Birkenhead Bus Station one bus parked at the stop , prevented the bus station functioning , due to nothing being able to circulate around the rear of the bus in question.

Im now no longer sure what uses bay 5 there ?

The 145/6 normally go from there and it still causes problems when Liverpool bound services arrive going on stand 7 and Eastham ,Chester etc ,Clatterbridge using stand 6.

Drivers have no choice at Merseytravel bus stations, as Merseytravel will issue fines to drivers for not going to the right stand.

47620, 47624 plus others noted on 51/53s in Chester today in place of the Pointer Darts which seem to have moved onto route 16

Not sure where the usual 16 branded Enviro200s have gone
