RE: Stagecoach Chester & Wirral
Basically Enviro200s for 41, 42, 38 then as the golds will be for gold services when the wirral closure is done. Norm Enviro300 will be at chester for X8 and the golds will be on 2 and 1. As for schools, there must surely be some sort of allocation as some must be busy enough for a decker but others only a Solar. Wirral Schools have a PVR of 26 (from the latest Stagecoach timetables) and from what my latest fleetlist says, RF couldnt do it unless they had no spares over school times which would seem... odd. Thanks for your information, I shall update. |

RE: Stagecoach Chester & Wirral
Are there no school routes which specify deckers are needed? That is kind of what I want to find out. |

I even looked up the route on Flickr and saw some Enviro200-MMCs there. This will be a very useful route for them. I can now ride one between Chester and Ellesmere Port instead of either route 2 or X8 on that section. I plan to tour the area in May. I hope this is late enough to see the new Chester bus station but early enough not to see Arriva Enviro400-City buses in Chester or BYD-Enviro200-MMCs in Liverpool yet! (I would ride these on other trips next year). |
