Oh right they must have been since monday then, when i went past on monday evening 34230 61578 and 60114 where still on the back wall and quite a few scanias parked up by the wash waiting - must have finally taken them! I noted 60005,60108,60080,60111,60055 still out the past few days, id imagine theyll be gone shortly after takeover though. Ill make the most of them while I can, good old workhorses! I am no longer active on this forum. |

There are quite a number of Scanias and Olympians including one of the NC bodied ones parked up at Bolton although PVS have been there as well......... |

The ride quality being sublime and generally performed eminently. Inside, the vehicle was pristine and wholesome. No notable vandalism, even to the rear most seating backs. This whilom Stoke-on-Trent beast certainly brought pleasant memories once more to what Ultralows used to be. Unfortunately, abiding memories of such examples would have been 5318 and 5320 in the final days operating out of Green Lane. 60055 considerably more admirable than the aforementioned Arriva pair, that is for sure. Cheers for that WWH, in that case it would appear the Weston St top car park was an emergency refuge for the said vehicles. Plus, saving PVS copious amounts of diesel in comparison with the extra 40 miles or so travelled to Rock Ferry. |

RE: First Chester & Wirral
Dont forget the Chester operation of first was always classed in First Group circles as more important than Rock Ferry. But lets all please calm down and enjoy the next couple of weeks , its going to be an interesting couple of weeks for all of us with plenty to report. So please keep those reports flowing in. |
