Believe the 135 will charge a flat commercial fare, same as the 122

Today is the first day in over 20 years that neither the 40 or 240 has run. End of an era

It also marks the end of a Sunday bus service from Bromborough and Eastham to Bromborough Retail Park .

Stagecoach only see fit for the 38A to operate via Bromborough Retail Park on a sunday ,

RE: Avon Buses
So the commercialisation of the 164 really was to prevent another operator taking the route on at the time the contract finished , now the route has gone back under the wing of Merseytravel , wouldnt surprise me that it is the same with the 411 when that timetable becomes available.

As far as deckers go, they mostly operated Titans, but there is a fair list of VRTs, Olympians, Dominators, Metrobuses, Atlanteans, Fleetlines and who could forget the Ailsas. I always thought the Ailsas suited the much darker livery like the Nationals. I almost forgot that one made it into the cream livery until I saw this photo on flickr.

I do remember Volvo Ailsa JOV760P (ex West Midlands) sometime went to Ellesmere Port school contract but I can't remember which one, so sold on then someone smashed all the glass, so I'm not sure that JOV760P sold again to preservation after that I've heard nothing. Really Nice bus!! Hope this help.
