21123, 21251, 28539 & 28542 from what i can see have been brought to Gillmoss. Strangely, the fleet numbers on the Golds have been applied to the windscreen. |

Could be so its easier to fund whichever vehicle is assigned to the drivers as they book on duty. |

I'm on a service 2 & the driver volunteered the information that the gold buses will be starting in service on Friday 30 October. Interestingly, when I suggested that the old buses may be needed elsewhere, he said he'd been asked to go & work out of Preston, but had turned the offer down. It maybe the case that the gold buses are being introduced to provide a readily available pool of vehicles to cover the loss of Fishwicks in Leyland? |
