RE: The Weather
Snowed last night when I was out in the bus but not such that is caused any disruption (other than missing Molyneux Drive out as previously mentioned) - Looking out the house now it looks pretty clear (I live on a main road!) but I'm on different bus routes tonight which mainly go on main roads anyway so all being well there will be no problems again!

RE: The Weather
From the BBC news snow disruption page .

The Highways Agency is reporting that a section of the M6 in Cumbria has been temporarily closed after a vehicle towing a trailer of bullocks overturned on the northbound carriageway just north of Southwaite. Police say the closure could last up to an hour and warned motorists to either wait at Southwaite services or leave the motorway at junction 41 and travel on the A6 northbound

The weather going north today is particulary atrocious , im led to believe until last night Cumbria had particulary got away with much snow , but now .

RE: The Weather
It was actually raining in Leigh earlier but then turned back to light snow. Back in St Helens, doesn't appear to have been anymore snow on the ground.

RE: The Weather
The temperature during the day must have been above freezing as the snow started to disappear during the morning , even though it was snowing , which turned into a sleety mix .

It does make for a bit of a slippy mix in the morning if there is any run off as the temperature is supposed to be heading subzero tonight .

RE: The Weather
About 10.00 we saw the first part of the transition to the more milder weather with the arrival of some heavy snow .

Its still snowing now but nowhere near as heavy as before .

By Tuesday afternoon daytime temperatures will be at 11c , i just hope some of us have got the wellies out for the flooding that is bound to follow on.

RE: The Weather
Next to no snow looking out here in Liverpool, forecast says a bit of rain later, it'll warm up at about 2am and be fairly warm (and dry!) for most of tomorrow!

RE: The Weather
Just had a proper look out, there is some snow out on the road but not a lot!

I hope the forecast is right and it'll all be gone before I get up!
