Now though, both routes haven't been running to time for the last two weeks, drivers going the wrong way, and these are drivers that operate this route on a daily basis. So much so that today, at Bury a TFGM offical was talking to us, and saying sorry for the issues with the late running, so much so that we over heard a conversation, with the Bury inspector, being told in no un certain terms get on the phone to Bolton Depot and find out what is going on. He handed out complaint forms to us all, and every passenger took one. Not that I'am stupid enough to believe it will do any good. It does seem though that timings is not enough of an exscuse anymore as these routes never run to time, no matter what time of day it is.

I have to smile at least TFGM are trying to show us they are doing something about under performing services that they pay for.

Bolton have there former B7 66899 On Loan from Bury
also 31930 seems to be back in Bolton on loan

135 branded BY12005 bendi Leaving Bolton Depot with 593 Wigan Via Hindley Green on the Destination. I guess it was having some work done at BN

Do those new Optare things break down like all of the time or something? It wasn't too long ago when one stopped in Salford because the driver said that she couldn't see through the windscreen for whatever reason, so everybody off that bus had to get on the bus that I was on, which was an X34 I think. Then yesterday, 49121 came into Bolton on the 512/3, and after the drivers changed the driver got off and she said something about there was going to be a delay because of something to do with the bus and a mechanic needed to see to it. I'm sure that was the same driver of the dodgy windscreen one too! Proper quality new buses! Smile

One of the engineers, based at Bury was saying they are always having relaibility issues with them, one in particular was apparantly at one point they couldn't go above 25 miles per hour, with them being electric, he said a message was flashing up on the dash, saying they were not fuel efficent, or something like that. I was on 49121 yesterday morning and 49123 today this morning. Personally I don't rate them, at all. And of course what faffs it up the most is First engineers can't touch them, due to them being electric.

Correction, we are paying for these services. TFGM is using tax payers purse to pay First to run these attempts of a service.

What really annoys me is that TFGM clearly know there is a problem with these services they are paying First to operate so why not do something practical instead of just handing out comment forms. I know for a fact that once completed and handed back to TFGM, they simply forward them to First.
