Or perhaps Stagecoach did like D&G and High Peak and submitted cancellation requests giving 8 weeks notice for the short term GHA replacement contracts as the Cheshire East tenders were not awarded in time? The rumour is High Peak have kept the P1 contract despite having submitted a cancellation request. Strangely High Peak did not cancel their 27 registration despite Springfield having already taken over the Mon-Fri services. Or perhaps High Peak submitted a SN request to cancel the 27 and it was rejected? As a couple of services are 5 minutes earlier/later under Springfield I think the TC could be awkward about High Peak not running a 27 service if she wanted to be.
