One carriage of most 150s has less seats than the other due to one having a toilet, luggage rack and wheelchair bay. The lowest number of seats any Northern 150 has is 124 and the highest any Northern 142 has is 121, so a 150 always has more seats than a 142. The ex-LM 150/2s have 149 seats crammed in so they actually have more than some of the 156s.
