Yes, it got a lot of coverage across the media. Over-hanging branches and leaning trees are a known hazard in London but the authorities refuse to pollard them and expect drivers to drive away from the kerb. On some images you can see road signs advising high-sided vehicles to do this. It will be interesting to see if the second 24-hour strike on Thursday gets as much media attention. Probably not. |
