I was in Ashton Bus Station for a while yesterday lunchtime, and out of 6 consecutive 219s, only one was a hybrid! The allocations do seem mixed up at weekend, although to be fair I'm in Ashton most lunchtimes during the week and yes it's quite common to see standard Enviro400's on the 219 but in all honesty the hybrids seem to stick to the 219 so it does seem to be a eveving/weekend thing. Out of interest who operates the night bus 216,219 and 237 on a Friday and Saturday night? As I remember someone telling me Hybrids were quite common on them workings a while ago. I know princess road always used to do night work a few years back so presumably it's Sharston? |
