Are the engines different? The earlier version of the single-deck OmniCity was known as the CN94UA/CN94UB (A denoting articulated, B denoting rigid). But the Euro4 version was known as the CN230UA/CN230UB or CN270UA/CN270UB, the 230 and 270 indicate the maximum power (in hp) of the engine. The engine is mounted transversely, and it has a low floor throughout. The Scania OmniLink differs in that it has a longitudinally mounted engine, and is not low-floor throughout, i.e like most buses on the British market. The codes are: CL94U[A/B] as Euro3, CK230U[A/B], CK270U[A/B],CK310U[A/B] as Euro4 - again the number denoting the maximum horse-power.
