If Warrington BC has given a loan to WBT it must not be on terms more favourable than those attached to loans to other businesses, as to do so would again be illegal and would be picked up by the external independent auditors like a shot.

Most, if not all of the remaining council bus companies currently have some level of outstanding loan debt with their local council. A check of the annual accounts will confirm this and the respective amounts.
