At least Middleton have 2 more buses which can be safe for use at night too as a good couple of buses certainly do not look safe at night e.g the interior colour, lighting quality and CCTV.
Have all of the Hybrids arrived at Sharston?
I think most of the hybrids have arrived in Sharston now. At least 8 of the 11 have arrived.
Talking of Ashton solos, what is happening with 47559 these days? They seem to have spent a lot of money getting it back on the road but I haven't seen it in service since it came back.
It's still knocking about and makes brief appearences with the other Solo (I always forget the f/no), either on taxi duties or on the 342/344. One if the Solos was out today on 202's along with the Dart.
The Tridents seemed to have vanished from AZ, not seen them working of late or 40660 come to think of it.
Nice to see the influx of younger Enviro400's on AZ workings over the weekend. Their in such a better condition than the older 'sheds' and you can actually hold a conversation downstairs without having to shout.
Thanks for that.
I think there is one trident remaining at Ashton, 17670. It was on the 216 yesterday.
A good few 57 reg's have transferred from Hyde Road to Ashton in the last few days, releasing some of the 56 reg's for cascade. I'm sure we'll all be very sad to see them go
