My personal view is that the OFT have gone beyond their remit because there is no need to have investigated this. There is no reduction in competition, fares have already started to fall. Apparently it is because "another bus company" has filed a complaint.

Although I've heard from a few sources that the OFT doesn't like Stagecoach! If that is the case, then the OFT is definitely going too far and needs reining in.
