The business centre of Liverpool has moved in recent years towards Old Hall Street whist buses have moved in the other direction either terminating in Queen Square or Liverpool One which most buses access via Hanover Street. There used to be 82D and 86D routes which ran in via Dale Street. Planners would probably say that you do not an 82D as business people can walk to Cressington, Aigburth or St Michaels stations to travel to Moorfields. That does not apply to passengers who used the 86d or indeed the 79 which now runs down Hanover Street or the 79c via London Road. Furthermore, the removal of Mann Island terminus by a certain corrupt ex Mayor and his friends in the bogus planning department also alienates any elderly, infirm or even workers from ideal connections via the Ferries and local businesses in and around that part of town.
