Northern's cancellation rate today is terrible. Some routes have seen around 40% of services cancelled this afternoon and evening, especially around the Manchester area. I think it's the worst it's ever been, with the exception of Sundays or when there's a reasonable reason for mass cancellations e.g. extreme weather or industrial action.
