14:41 Manchester to Chester to be held at Navigation Road for 7 minutes from next Monday to allow Altrincham school pupils to catch the train instead of having to wait almost 2 hours for a train. Although, that's a service on one of Northern's diagrams which has been reduced from 4 carriages to 2 this week which might make travelling on that service fun next week! The heavily used 07:09 Manchester to Chester is also a service on that diagram that Northern decided didn't need 4 carriages and there's been reports even the 13:02 Chester to Manchester has been overcrowded, never mind the 17:02.
