Arriva is a very large bus operator. Surely ANNW could source additional vehicles from other areas of the country fairly quickly. Stagecoach seem to be able to do this without any problem.

It is not just Arriva NNW that has taken over services ... Arriva Midlands has taken over 4 routes in Shrewsbury.

What size buses are needed for these routes? Arriva London has just withdrawn a handful of 06-reg MPDs .... doubt they have moved on yet, but a possibility.

Normally operated by eclipses or deckers.

I didn't know that. Perhaps Arriva should adopt Stagecoach's policy of retaining vehicles in a reserve fleet for such eventualities. Is this why Stagecoach always seem to do big sporting events (golf tournaments etc.) events around the country?

Yeah they should, but then again theres the cost of keeping more vehicles taxed and tested , perhaps Arriva don't see this as worthwhile.

There's a 51 and X52? Aren't they virtually the same?
