I wonder as well what Warrington bound buses did, spin round in the middle of the road or turn left onto Hermitage Green Lane. A very narrow road and not suited for a full sized bus. |

Volvo 2715 was on the 352 earlier and just clocked 4167 on the 89 heading towards St.Helens |

320 and 20 journeys to St Helens were diverted from about 16.00 16.15 onwards following an RTA/RTC or a boy racer thinking his car was a sports car. A Honda was also at the scene but looked undamaged Police and ambulance on scene. The collision was on Church road in Haydock at the junction with Piele road. Buses to St Helens turned right onto Piele road. From there I don't know what it was but my guess would be a left onto the East Lancs and a left onto Haydock Lane omitting a section of Church road and Clipsley lane. They where turning right onto piele road then down the east lancs then to the huntsman/tesco then normal route. 329/360 as had disruptions to due to an rta at newton le willows on the M6 causing serious delays in warrington and newton. |

I thought about them going to the link road and down West End Road as Haydock Lane can get congested. The roadworks today on that junction with Clipsley Lane didn't help timings at rush hour. |

Todays been a mixed bag on allocations: Solo sr on 20 722 on 320 4414 and 4169 on 31 2715 on 352 Pulsar 1 on 10A 2707 on 329/360 |
