RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
the 360 today was yet again a complete and utter joke, 7650 missed a trip for shorts due to the doors not opening and once that was fixed it was that bad of the line it got booked of mid day then 7634 decides to cut out around corner from wigan bus station and another bus broke down at golbourne but i forgot the fleetnumber of this bus (might of been 2319) when will arriva learn you just cant put all the unreliable rubbish on a route so far away from their depot (compared to their other routes)

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
really it should be the locals with the unreliable buses on as if a bus was to fail then its simple to sort out

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
I made it to St Helens today as planned. My Solo SR was 713, on route 35. I rode this route to St Helens Junction to resist the temptation to catch a train from Manchester to St Helens Junction then a bus to St Helens later. I noticed more buses than I am used to these days in old livery. A sign of the times was seeing no buses with MTL moquette. I was pleased to ride a Marshall (7634) on route 34 but sadly was told to change to another bus at Earlestown. Admittedly the replacement bus, Renown 2707, had elegant seating even in the old moquette.

The last vehicle as far I know the last vehicle to have MTL moquette was the dreadful 7640 which has thankfully now departed St Helens for Bolton.

7623 boasts an MTL interior too. A dreadful vehicle also, mind.
