The StreetAir facts = TfL specification 10.6m two door single deck StreetAir EV based on the StreetDeck chassis platform. It has a Siemens ELFA 2 electric drive system, Nickel Manganese Cobalt batteries and will spend a period on an evaluation project in Liverpool with Arriva before transferring to run for the same company in London. Range on an overnight charge is 200miles/18 hours. A new feature is an infra-red heating system. Passenger capacity is 72, 23 of them seated.

The Yutongs have 27 seats/capacity 72 also, 1 is due January for 3 months trial before the rest arrive

Sounds like a backwards step for Green Lane as no Service is suitable for either

The electric buses on order for Green Lane are BYDs not Yutongs

The StreetAir has 23 seats.

AFAIK the streetair possibly might not be in service but will be touring depots unlike the Yutong.

Apologies read it wrong - the Yutong IS here for a 3 month trial in January on the 26/27s, THEN the BYDs will arrive following feedback about the electric trials with the Yutong.

Bit confused as an 8 to 'City Centre' was following the route of the 61/68 at Edge Lane Drive / The Rocket this afternoon, emerging from Broad Green Road and then heading south down Queens Drive towards Childwall Fiveways.
