Various reasons although in these two cases power related problems

The diagram on which 319 368 failed is the same one which another 319 failed on one day last week - commuters heading to Liverpool from stations on the Wigan must be feeling very unlucky.

There is now a 156(421) on the Lime St-Man Air-Lime St route due to both the afforementioned 319s failing

RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North)
Does anyone know when the 12 extra class 319 will come?

One idea is that the class 321 and class 322 could be used on the Liverpool services when the class 331 will be delivered.

Well its getting exasperation time with these class 319's the PPM must now be taking a healthy dive.

Was Thameslink , First capital Connect and TSGN having the same problems with the 319's ?

I have heard that London Midland has also had an unhappy time with there 319's as well

Won't happen; they're going off lease from Northern.

Their engineering teams were more used to them. The Allerton team were obviously new to them and on top of that, they had some traction work done before entering service up here (which is proving horribly unreliable) so even though Northern employed a senior Thameslink engineer to come and oversee the maintenance of the 319s, he's unable to do much more either due to the differences.
