Thanks for that, I wasn't sure as I know Chester had a 52 plate a week or so ago, wasn't sure if the older tridents which arrived over the last few days were replacements

No longer in paint shop so Unknown...paint shop currently has 36072 sanded down and a P&R Volvo sanded down...21271 is parked outside paint shop repainted just a slight bit of cab to be reconstructed near front

From Sunday...

Route 224: the journeys from Liscard at 0801 and 0824 are withdrawn.

Routes 225 and 226: services are withdrawn but replaced by new Route 229 - see below.

Route 227: Journey retimed 1 minute earlier throughout. Now departs from Prenton at 0743.

Route 228: Service is unchanged.

New Route 229: 2 morning and 2 afternoon journeys via Grove Rd, Mount Rd, Albion St and Liscard.

17491 was out on schools at birkenhead this morning, presumably had some minor damage repaired in paint shop. Unsure if it's staying or how long for.

17591 has been here since November 2014 and was only used once when it broke down. Took over a year to fix and now Its awaiting MOT prep.

It was 17491 that was being prepped last night not 17591 sorry for the confusion

I would expect this contract for the double deckers to operate until at least the end of the summer term in July , at which point a new contract will then have been set in motion for the 2016/7 school year.
