First have posted their changes to services between Leigh and Manchester in April, which includes the launch of Vantage.

Services 12, 25, 26, 39 and X34 will be withdrawn (no news on DiamondBus's 12/26 evening service, Stagecoach continue with the X34).

New service 35 will be introduced with most journeys running between Leigh and Swinton via Astley, Tyldesley, Little Hulton, Walkden and Roe Green with some peak-time journeys running to/from Manchester.

Service X39 is re-routed to run via Astley instead of Atherton and will run via Old Clough Lane and East Lancs Road instead of via Swinton. Afternoon journeys will also be introduced heading out of Manchester towards Leigh.

Service V1 will run betwen Leigh and Manchester via the guided busway through Tyldesley, while service V2 will run from Atherton to Tyldesley and the guided busway to Manchester.

The changes will mean that Lowton and Boothstown will no longer be served by First buses (Stagecoach's 34 service will continue to serve these locations).

There's currently a bit of an 'error' with the First App for Manchester at the moment. Timetables for the Vantage V2 service (to Manchester Central Hospitals) are being displayed along Oxford Road when using the 'next bus' information.

Spotted that at the weekend, along with the V1. I think it's because they're listed in the Traveline timetable list (although unable view timetables as it only goes up to 31 March).

Some changes in April listed in the documents for the next TfGM Committee meeting.

• 8N/36N/39N night bus journeys withdrawn.
• 41 cross-city journeys curtailed to run between West Didsbury and Manchester only.
• All Mon-Sat daytime journeys on service 52 extended to Eccles replacing service 41.
• 64 planned to be withdrawn. TfGM looking at replacement service
• 350 frequency reduced to every 12 mins between Ashton and Micklehurst and two buses per hour beween Ashton and Hey Farm/Oldham (24/36 minute frequency).
• 408/412 services planned to be withdrawn with exception of peak-time journeys on service 408. TfGM looking at replacement services
• 415 curtailed to run between Oldham and Middleton only.
• 456/458 planned to be withdrawn. Rosso to run partial replacement between Rochdale and Wardle. TfGM looking at replacement services for Hollingworth Lake and Stubley.
• 468 curtailed to run between Tottington and Jericho only
• 472/474 reduced to run every 15 mins each way Mon-Sat daytime
• 507 reduced to every 20 mins.

Just seen citaro 60250 in service on a 519 in Bolton. Presuming it's a loan. Must be the first time a citaro has seen service from Bolton depot.
