RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot
Let's not forget here it was First Bus that went to Merseytravel and Arriva asking for a QP to be introduced as they were at a loss with services. Theoretically, nor Arriva or Stagecoach are at a loss here when it comes to revenue. The agreement was that Arriva provided Heswalls of a night and First provided Chesters. Daniel Christopher. |

Arriva must try and get the ban lifted from going in to Cheshire oaks to provide a better QBP for them revenue wise and to the benefit of passengers Cheers Rob Day Formerly 51537 |

Strange one, tried having a hunt around to see if I can find the reason why but can't find anything yet |

Not necessarily - if some of the roads in Cheshire Oaks are private property and not public highways, then presumably the owners have the right to decide what vehicles are allowed to use them for what purpose. In which case, might it not be simply a commercial deal, whereby they sell the right to be the exclusive operator of local buses there? |
