I believe it's to stop people of a certain 'sort' from boarding buses full of school children and inappropriate following them home/to school.

Halton transport and Peoplesbus are one of the few operators to publicly publish their school services (for the benefit of parents and students). A few selected services that appear on the merseytravel website but not all of them for reasons such as the safety of the students, and the school would provide the parents with the timetable if required.

First Chester & Wirral and Arriva North West both had listings of their school routes on their websites when they ran them, it is probably more just up to the operator if they wish to include them on their website or not.

Anything to do with children and school's is an emotive subject for obvious reason's .

The schools must have come to some agreement with Merseytravel for the publishing of that particular timetables , probably rather than the school's having to publish the timetables out of there meagre resources .

The 503 is a bit of a funny one, not going in to deatils but it not being on the internet probably is something to do with safeguarding.

That is a very retro look. Reminds me of the some of the Leyland Leopards/Bristol RE's from the 1970's. Difficult to believe these are actually 02 Plates.

I think they would of looked better if they had the front swoops too instead like the darts instead of the full front blue panel.
