There was a staff bus Enviro200 broke down around 8.30am at the exit of the Ashton bus station - Wellington road, forcing vehicles to drive round it

AZ arnt doing too well breakdown wise as the Enviro400 I was on at lunchtime today was forced to abandon the journey after the exterior wing mirror which is fixed on near the doors just fell off as the bus went through Stalybridge. The radio was also broken and the driver was forced to use his mobile and despite ringing it in immediately it took 25 minutes for another bus to be sent out.

They definitely are still programmed with 78 as there were 2 hybrids on the 78 on thursday one of them being 25343 as it's front display wasn't working but the side and back said 78 and tonight on the Manchester-bound service YJ61 JFY has just turned up

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Several weeks ago I seem to recall someone was wondering what had happened to one of either 13995 or 13996. Both were operating the 142 this morning going through Didsbury at about 0800, Manchester bound & within 30 seconds of one another.

Yes a similar situation happened on 6th. January when 13996 was operating service 42 following 13995 which was on service X41 to Altrincham - in fact 13995 was on the X41 all day.

Unusal workings on the X41 today. Magic Bus 17699 passing through Sale at 15:45 (late running?) towards Altrincham whilst 22808 seen in Broadheath at around 16:15 heading towards Manchester - both showing full destination displays.
