RE: First Manchester
It looks like Oldham Depot have more than one board on 64s now as 09:55 from Oldham was 69177, apparently from what I got told by an Oldham Driver yesterday the pieces are long for Oldham driver's who do 64s as they do the following:

64 Oldham-Manchester
64 Manchester-Middleton
64 Middleton-Manchester
64 Manchester-Oldham

Another Dart oddity was 47182 operating on 415s without a working destination blind or hymn number visable in the windscreen

RE: First Manchester
An unexpected sight this afternoon during the afternoon rush hour, as a Dart (40361) was operating on the 83 from Manchester to Sholver.

Meanwhile, services travelling along Oldham Road from Manchester may suffer significant delays going off what happened today. Roadworks at the junction of Dean Lane and Oldham Road saw one lane closed for about 10-15 yards and resulted in a journey time of 40-45 mins (normally 12-15 mins) between Manchester and Newton Heath during the afternoon rush hour. So, could be big delays to services 24, 83, 180, 181, 182, 184 and X84.

RE: First Manchester
Service 8 will be re-routed in Manchester for the four weeks before Christmas due to delays experienced in the run-up to Christmas last year.

From 24 November, the service will run from Chapel Street via Blackfriars Street to Deansgate (67/100 route) instead of via Bridge Street. Buses will continue along Deansgate heading out of Manchester and will revert back to current route from Boxing Day.

RE: First Manchester
Perhaps the Christmas markets or general Christmas shoppers clogged up the streets too much.

Saw another B7 on the 17 today, are QS short on double deckers as I regularly see B7 on double deck routes?

RE: First Manchester
At night drivers prefer them so swap them, during the day will be due to lack of forward planning for allocator, you will see doubles on thr 67 which could easily be a B7....

RE: First Manchester
Pioneer seemed to be really struggling today. B9 broken down on Penny Meadow causing loads of problems.
41s running together (even though its a 30 min service), both were driving over crowhill together.
Also noticed two Solos on 350's today and 2 Olympians on 348's, is it me or have Pioneer lost some B9s?
