From sightings yesterday it seemed no Enviro 300s were out from Oldham Depot with some rather odd allocations out for a Sunday:

181/2: Mostly B7s with the strange sight of a Citaro allocated as well
409: Mostly Enviro 400 but with one Gemini allocated as well
425s: Solo & Enviro 400

You find that Bolton's are spread around at the moment and can be found on any route at all.

Following on from the 'Meet the Team' day in Bolton recently, First will be holding another Meet the Team in Oldham this Thursday (4 July). The event will take place between 9am and 4pm on Albion Street (outside Tommyfield Market).

Counted at least 5 of Bolton's Enviro300s on the 501 yesterday. This is the route that i'd heard they are intended for.

The oldham team are just off lord street today near Iceland in the town centre, with an enviro400, for people to talk to the team... meaning complain...

I wonder if Dukinfield will do a 'meet the team' day in Ashton - there would be a stampede of angry commuters

First changes for 21 July now listed on TfGM Service Changes page. Significant changes are:

*18 - Re-routed to serve Manchester Royal Infirmary grounds instead of Rusholme
*26 - Re-routed to serve Irlams o'th' Heights instead of A6
*402 - Some peak-time journeys to run direct between Oldham and Royal Oldham Hospital instead of via Chadderton Way and B&Q
*525/527 - Monday-Saturday daytime journeys taken over by Cumfybus
*571/572 - Evening journeys taken over by Cumfybus
*X35 - Additional weekday journey at 1900 from Manchester to Bury

Coverage in the Oldham Evening Chronicle about First's Meet the Team day yesterday in Oldham. Most of feedback was positive but few complaints about reliability (no surprise).

According to the Chron, passengers levels have increased by 8% since the fare reductions in April, although not sure if that's just in Oldham or across the First network in Greater Manchester. Also mentions about new vehicles (presumably the Enviro 300s), which will see more rolled out in the coming weeks. Some Enviros are already out on the 81/81A and 408/428 in Oldham plus on several services in Bolton.
