st mersetyside and wigan had there own arrangements bringing at least 2 full loads each from wigan and merseyside. as was seen on m60 at denton enroute on sunday

524 is operated with a mixture of vehicles these days, there's normally a couple of B9 Gemini's daily on the route as well as a couple of Citaros, it seems that gone are the days when the route was allocated one specific vehicle type, I also believe there are couple of booked Olympian duties on it as well during the evening peak after doing Schools

The 524 must have one of the most varied vehicles on the route, along with the 425, which has had Solos, Darts (both Plaxton and Wright), Citaros, B7RLEs, B9TLs and Enviro 400s on its route over the last week. Wouldn't be surprised if Olympians have been on it too.

Thought I saw a Citaro on the route so was checking the vehicles used, I personally think it looks better when a certain vehicle type is allocated to a certain route.

I have also noticed the 98 has a few Citaro's on it, and I have noticed B9's on the 135 also.

Looks like the new Enviro 300s are making its home on the 501, going off the pics on Flickr and Ipernity. Although, it has ended up on the 8 and it has been said that it's been on the 36, 519, 571/572 and 575.

Sure I've seen a picture somewhere of one on layover in Stockport Bus Station inbetween journeys on 22
