President PJ53 NKD has been converted to partly-open-top and, consequently, branded for City Sightseeing. It's now fleet-numbered T9 and named "Millie". I seen it whilst visiting Ace Travel's depot today, although it was pitch-black at where it was situated and, due to the tight space in that area, it was close-to-impossible to photograph it properly! It looked like it was ready for service, so look-out for it on the streets of Liverpool...!

It's been out in service for a few days now - here's a photo of it (credit to "Alan Sansbury" on Flickr):

Managed to catch MPD Y254 NLK (701) out of service on Old Roan this morning whilst displaying a destination for the 250! Beforehand, an Enviro200 had whizzed past also heading for Maghull with a destination for the 130! Yesterday, another MPD was travelling at about the same time in the same direction displaying a destination for the 214!

The buses that operate the 4/5 maghull circulars of an evening go straight on to the 210/250 after the 4/5 have finished. Relief drivers come up in ace driver shuttle vans and take over the buses at maghull station and then they go up to ashworth to start on 210/250 and the buses that go on the 130 come straight off the 103 service with driver changeover at old roan station hence why the two long wheelbase enviros can always be found on the 130 as they always operate the 103s.

Thanks for that information! I do think that the bus' destinations should be reset so that they're not displaying a service when they're not in service!

Managed to photograph the open-top President in Liverpool this morning, although I don't understand who would want to go on an open-top bus in this extraordinary weather...!
