Prob is the kick off time hasn't been announced yet & the game still could be moved to the Thursday, as Wigan Athletic are playing at home on Easter Saturday, & there owner doesn't like the Rugby played the day before the Football so the pitch can be preserved for the Football. Even though the owner used to own the rugby club. But then again we are talking about someone who shows no proper concept of running a football club, which is why Wigan FC are always pretty much rooted to the bottom of the Premier League! The most likely situation is that the Good Friday and 22 July fixtures will be swapped so the GF match is at Langtree Park. Or (pigs flying) the football match will be moved to Sunday or Monday. Either way, something will have to be done as the GF match is scheduled to be televised... the day won't be changed, as Wigan vs Saints is a long standing Good Friday tradition - even if it is just a friendly! But I'll shut up now, given this is not a thread about football or rugby! |

Good morning good people, the NWVRT is very pleased to announce our next charity depot tour. It will take place on Sunday 3rd March in conjunction with our friends at Arriva North West, we will be visiting their Green Lane, Laird St, Speke, Runcorn and St Helen's depots as well as a visit to NWVRT HQ at Kirkby to see the vehicles there, and what we get up to. As with our stagecoach tour, there will be a few surprises during the day including a raffle. The cost will be £10 per person with all the profits going to Clatterbridge Oncology Centre. Places are First Come First served with NWVRT members having priority. Little Bit more info on what K853 has posted. once times have been sorted either me or K853 will post |
