323205 has arrived back at Allerton after a repaint at Wolverton. This is the first ex WMT unit to be repainted into Northern livery All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

Northern have cancelled services all day on the Mid Cheshire line due to flooding near Mobberley. They say replacement buses are not possible. It'll be interesting if the only services that run are the late ones which were already scheduled to be replacement buses due to engineering works. https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/...&order=wtt The Manchester Airport line has also seen a high number of cancellations due to the heavy rain overnight. I noticed a 323 was working a Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service yesterday afternoon. I remember all the fuss about people not wanting services transferred from TPE to Northern as they thought it was mean a rolling stock downgrade, and the specific "Northern Connect" train specifications in response to that, mandating 2+2 seating, tables, plug sockets, air conditioning etc. |
