The Open 2023, Hoylake
With 'The Open' 2023 at Hoylake nearly upon us, it's probably worth having a thread just for it. Stagecoach will be doing the park & ride shuttles as usual however as none of the new Birkenhead/Preston vehicles have appeared yet (I believe that plan was to use those....), I would assume Gillmoss/Rock Ferry vehicles will be used, unless anything is getting loaned..... Is there any chance of the ex-Peoplesbus deckers getting on this at all? If schools are off they could be useful runners on this work. |

Happy Als SN12 EHS and SN62 AAV (both ex Metroline Enviro 400s) seen on Hoylake-West Kirby replacements this morning (13/7) during my brief wait between trains. |

I've heard today that new '23' plate E400MMC's are expected to be used at 'The Open', the Preston batch (although how many I don't know), plus some others, which are intended for a non-local Stagecoach fleet.
