Looks like 2144 has seen its last day in service, after sustaining severe rear end damage after a R.T.C last night. Thankfully driver is ok

Will be pot luck on later garage run out, short of vehicles at mo. With enviros off at Blackburn for refurb, 2 withdrawn due to serious rtc damage and 2 commanders sent elsewhere. Plus the daily defects, mechanical issues etc

I thought St Helens did all of Arriva refurbs so what is being done at Blackburn that can't be done at Jackson Street?

Nothing but St helens been busy with refurbishment for Arriva in the NorthEast, Wales and now Green Lane. Got a great deal with Blackburn which included pick up and delivery back to Jackson St thrown in. Plus factor in any RTC damage that needs repairing too.

The 17 is now generally Pulsars thanks to the re-routing this week. The Solo's/Solo SR's seem to be mainly confined to the 32/32A/35 routes now.

17 was too busy for Solos once the 30 was dropped,the whole reason for the rerouting was to allow bigger vehicles on the 17
