As this has been put in the public domain, presumably by Merseytravel or Arriva and there were no injuries, I don't see any problem. A few years ago, a similar incident occurred at Queen Square and Arriva very quickly used CCTV footage to challenge bogus insurance claims by people who claimed compensation for injuries sustained.
When you consider the amount of CCTV and TV footage shown on a daily basis of people suffering appalling injuries and horrific deaths, a bus crashing through some railings is hardly worthy of censorship.

I wonder if it could have had something to do with the Zeta acceleration system Arriva uses (if it wasn’t human error / illness), as having driven vehicles with said device it does sometimes randomly give you unexpected full acceleration when you don’t actually ask for it.

The cctv as been provided by "THE SWAN" pub based at the bottom of the bus station , so merseytravel or arriva haven't put it out into public domain.

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
The 89s have been showing “diversion on route, please ask driver” for a number of days now, but I saw one about 45 mins ago coming from childwall towards Belle Vale along Childwall Valley road. Can anyone enlighten me as to why what would appear to be a long diversion is taking place as the road from Gateacre Brow to Belle Vale is open normally. Thanks in advance

It's due to a resurgence of anti-social behaviour in the area, the 89 is diverting away from Lydiate Lane and Belle Vale Road until further notice alongside Speke's 76. SC's 217 follows normal route until 7PM when it diverts away from the area.

If I'm correct, I believe not all bus services are being diverted away from the area as I brought this up in the HTL thread a couple of weeks ago.

On the subject of diversions, the 10/10A's are showing the same message due to part of Prescot Road (Green Lane area) being closed due to emergency utilities works.

Other routes from other depots are as well. Seems to be the common thing now
