RE: Merseyrail
I know its possibly unlikely at this time but I was wondering if the new unit has been out on anymore test runs recently.

RE: Merseyrail
They will try and get the new unit as much ast the testing regime will allow and they have driver availability .

Plans on service introduction later this year may have to change if the virus has a reaction to delivery timescales.

Not allowed until further notice. Basically due to numerous people having to be in close proximity on the train when it is on test.

Does anyone have any more information regarding the signalling issues between Hooton and Chester, which impacted on services Monday evening and until around mid-day Tuesday, sounds serious?
It is listed as "a fault with lineside cabling" and "signalling systems failure" on RTT.

It's been out and about apparently after the normal service on the Northern line has finished

Is it still restricted to the Kirkby line for testing at the moment or has it begun to venture further afield? Thanks.

The Kirkby line was picked for its self contained nature and to check for interference to the signalling system , has the kirkby line had an upgrade to the power supply yet ?

RE: Merseyrail
Alittle bit of a change on the Hooton - Liverpool line , on Sunday 3rd May.

Due to planned engineering work between Hooton and Chester , there will be a 30 min service between Hooton and Liverpool.

A bit of a change from the hourly service.
