I do hope that 4 car DMUs are gonna be used on the CLC stoppers once all the PRM mods and remaining 195s enter service I was on 150134 and it was jam packed a la the Pacer before it.

The CLC stoppers on the line does seem to be running in the last few days with less coaches than normal , can some of it be put down to the leaf fall season and the need for a few more trains needing the wheel lathe

RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North)
On my normal commute on the Mid Cheshire this week I've only had the booked class 150s twice and one of those hadn't had PRM work done - all the other times I've got a 142, including a former North East set with 2+2 seating this morning.

I know and completely understand that the pacers are the bain of anybodies existence.

I was wondering if 144003 is a 2 or 3 car example, if 2 car my question is whether a 3 car example will be preserved as well.

I would say that in the dmu fleet, they are unique in that each coach has 2 axles and the 3 car 144s are the only units with a 2 axle centre coach.

It's a 2 car unit

142012, 142079 and 142086 are on the move from York Holbeck to Landore TMD, I can only think forwarding to Newport for scrap will be their next move.
