It brings into the question of the divisions name First Greater Manchester, from sunday it would be simply First Oldham. as it will mainly only operate routes from Oldham.

Also would First look at temporally mitigating this depot over to the West Yorkshire Division until the eventual sale of the Oldham Depot or adandment of routes.

A precedent was after First sold most of their London ops in June 2013 and retained only DM until September. For that brief interlude, it became part of First Essex. Admittedly First "new Bolton" will in a sense be a shrunken replacement for the main First Bolton op sold to Rotala Diamond.

Transfers from Oldham Depot see 8 Streetlites heading down to First Essex (maybe Slough) with B7s from Bolton probably replacing them. Apparently a driver at Oldham Depot parked up a Streetlite yesterday and no sooner he had parked it up and cashed in, they had already took the ticket machine off it ready for the transfer.

A number of Streetlites (12 I think) are off to PMT & Leicester.

This will probably explain why the Streetlite out on 348’s in Ashton last night (Saturday) was swapped for an Enviro300 halfway through its duty.

StreetLites 47466-73 and Volvos 69521-6 reported elsewhere as having transferred to Sheffield

What I do know is that 11 long Streetlites have turned up at Adderley Green (First Potteries) all from Oldham Depot.

At Oldham Depot now are the former Eclipse branded B7s and the 2 Gemini 2s 36279 & 36280 along with a few former Bolton Geminis not to sure of fleetnumbers.

Other news is that from what I've heard from last night Oldham Depot will be operating the evening tenders that Bolton Depot used to operate on 2s and 68s.

And looks like the Vantage Buses are using the Arriva Bolton Depot for parking
