Seems to be a right mix and match at RF at the moment

10535 has been noted in use at RF and 10885 was very unusually on the 2 yesterday.

Destination screens for Chester routes seem to have changed over the last few days. Instead of scrolling, 5 is showing “City Centre via Broughton” for example.

On the subject of the 5, rode 47516 the other day. What an awful bus. Rattles throughout the bus, destination box broke at the bottom and could barely get out of second gear throughout the journey. Hardly a good advert for “gold” standard.

When will the results of the Wirral consultation be released? Concerning that yet more links could be lost. Hope merseytravel plug the gaps though I’m very sceptical

These days a lot of the route changes are clustered to help Arriva and Stagecoach , like the next major date will be when the schoolday timetables kick back in at the start of September , Merseytravel then normally have another major change date either in late October / early November.

I do wonder whether the reduction in the service 41/2 is to put more resilience into the service fleet at Rock Ferry , as Rock Ferry depot is constantly advising of disruption on this route on twitter.

If this doesnt result in problems , this service reduction may stay i think.
