As i was passing Rock Ferry just after 12 today , A full service 1 gold enviro 300 was being replaced with a double decker gold vehicle .

Would this have been a case of the single decker vehicle was the easiest vehicle to get out of the depot at that time and a subsequent shunt of vehicles may have been required to get a bigger vehicle out of the pack , considering the frequency on New Years Day is a lot lower than on Boxing Day with a lot less vehicles on the road today.

Gold 400 10885 plus at least one other was in Liverpool today (1 January 2019) on the 919 (Goodison Park shuttle) today - is this a regular occurrence ?

Not unusual for Rock Ferry vehicles to be on the 917 and 919.
