have 65735/36 had their route branding removed i have seen the others of the batch have

Anyone know whether First are suppose to have newer buses on the 1/2?

Every time I've seen the route it's NOT been a SOLAR or newish Double Decker, rather some oldish single decker.

Thought QBP had to have some sort of modern, low emission vehicles....

They have a certain amount of time to find low emission vehicles i think, we'll be getting newer buses after the olympics anyway so thats that problem sorted.

And afaik mic theyve all have route branding removed now.

Maybe something to do with the Olympic Games happening around the same time , there could be a rejig of vehicles when the big sporting event in london is over.

I was at Rock Ferry last week, the operations manager did mention there will be a mass fleet movement after olympics to replace all the older buses.

He also said we're due more geminis at some point, delightful.

65739 taken off the 1 at Rock Ferry depot earlier on due to high gearbox temp.
