Yes I agree there is no demand for double deckers to be on 2 and X8 but it's been great to see D/D's on them,different livery's etc,makes a change from the usual buses.

I'm great to see on X8 D/Decker past 6weeks, also I love it to ride on upstairs more view over the water and on motorway too!! I think agree makes a changes, only short term not longer. I've been over the bridge and took photographs Cambridge P&R on the motorway really fantastic.

Yes me too ill be sad to see the Cambridge MMCS go but gillmoss MMC's are running around still like whats been said there no call for DD on the X8 at the moment

Phase 3 of the works start on Merseyrail (a further 20 day complete closure of the Wirral Line between Birkenhead and Liverpool) from 30 May to 18 June.

Would I be correct in thinking Stagecoach will have sufficient capacity locally to cover services such as routes 2 & X8 with deckers by that time, rather than loan vehicles from elsewhere?

Gilmoss have transfered some of their new vehicles to displace the Cambridge park and rides so on that I would think they will
