Well that's changed my opinion lol, didn't know that... I guess we'll stick with the omni-citys lol

As far as I know the Streetcars have been withdrawn in Yorkshire, there are a handful in service in Swansea on a university contract.
Also I believe they are very expensive to operate both in terms of fuel & the fact they need two staff. I personally can't see them coming to Manchester in view of the current cost cutting exercise, but you never know!!!

Yes, Streetcars were once used on the York P&R.

I do remember being on one once and it badly struggled to get round a parked car in between two traffic islands , an occupational hazard with any articulated vehicle.

I need to correct myself here, in York they were used on route 4 to Acomb.

M505 PNA hasn't been on the road since 2010. It was scrapped after serving with First Eastern Counties

RE: First Manchester
Following on from the Oldham Network Review consultation that took place over the last month, First Manchester are now doing another Network Review for services in the Middleton and Heywood areas.

There'll be drop-in sessions in early January in the areas affected and there's an online survey available until 11 January. Any changes that may take place would happen in April 2017.

Survey is similar to the Oldham one, in terms of what they're asking for (which places do you visit, what do you find important in journeys, any routes/destinations only available by changing buses).

May be possible that this review could be linked to the proposed closure of Bury depot, as some of the destinations mentioned are in the Bury area (Bury town centre, Fairfield Hospital).

Interesting that the changes are planned for April, and Bury depot is due close in April
