8 Unknown Double Deckers (Euro VI?)
for Southport depot
At least 2 Southport drivers I have spoke to at seperate times have said there going to be Enviro400's as A Hybrid B5TL has been on test (Not Sure When) and struggled a lot on the 375/385 batch of routes
I thought Southport was getting DB300'S.
I was also told by a driver that Enviro400s were being considered/the preference due to their additional capacity in comparison to the VDL/Wright product.

Arriva wouldn't consider purchasing anything Hybrid/Electric at all if it wasn't for the Green Bus Fund that partially funds the current eco/green vehicles in almost all fleets throughout the UK.
They will do very well to get Wright-bodied DB300s next year as Wright's DD range will only consist of the StreetDeck and Gemini 3-bodied B5TL.

As has been said, hybrid is just not an option unless the government is good enough to put its hand in its pocket and give out some more Green Bus Fund money.

If these DDs even materialise, they will be either straight diesel Enviro400s or either of the Wright models. If capacity is key then bet on Wrights as they're claiming 99 passengers can be carried on their Euro 6 'deckers.
They will do well to body a VDL DB300 as this is not in the current product range!

Apart from the new pulsars at Green Lane are any more new buses confirmed due for Arriva NW this year or next?
Arriva Shires Order 2014

11 Wright StreetLite Maxes (for Route 321)
2 Alexander Dennis Enviro400s (for Sapphire Route 280)

Thanks to the Bucks, Berks and Oxon Buses and LOTS.

Details added to first post of the topic.
Added today to the first post are details of a further 11 StreetLite Maxes, this time destined for Northfleet depot in Dartford. Thanks to various Flickr members mentioning that these are due shortly.
As posted by smithy29919 there are twenty Enviro400s due for Rhyl

There are also nineteen double deckers due for Speke depot
The deckers for Speke will be myllenium replacements, that is about the number of them that they have.
