If anything, it looks like Arriva will 'do a First' and the StreetLite will become the new standard Arriva single decker, due to it covering many bases.
That's what i also think if Wrightbus discontinue using the SB200. Arriva might just order a streetlite max instead or maybe a pulsar 3 body could appear with the same chassis as the streetlite but in a longer length.

Nothing has been said to suggest the VDL SB200 being replaced for Euro 6, but soon every bus will be Euro 6, just like the only new buses available now are Euro 5/6
The SB200 is going to Euro 6 according to Route One, who quoted VDL's sales director in Holland on that. Whether Wright will continue to body it is another matter as they undoubtedly would prefer to sell complete StreetLites. However they do have a strategic agreement for VDL to sell the StreetLite in left-hand drive form in Europe so it might continue as part of the partnership. They have certainly committed to bodying the B8RLE (should anybody actually order it, that is) so there is no cast-iron reason why they won't continue with the SB200.
ADL will officially announce their revised Enviro400 for Euro 6 at some point and the Enviro200 is to be revised too, I am informed. It would be madness to even imagine that they haven't come up with some kind of thing similar to Wright's Micro Hybrid package, as Micro Hybrid is a complete game changer and ADL will be left behind if they don't match it.
There is a rumour that Wright have taken a serious order for StreetDecks, which is not surprising. Having seen what they are offering on the StreetDeck, this will be a big seller unless ADL are somehow able to blow it out of the water with the Euro 6 Enviro400.
Arriva could also order the B5TL in big numbers as this has many of the benefits of the StreetDeck, albeit not all of them.
For any remaining Euro 5 orders that are yet to be announced, bank on the Enviro400 as the DD of choice.

If Arriva order enviro 400's for the north west will these be the revised design or the current one?
It depends on what variant they order. If they go for Euro 5 they will be the current design and if they plump for Euro 6 then it will be the revised example, a la the disguised one that has been seen already.
There is a decided reticence among bus operators to order Euro 6, which is probably because none of them want to be the 'guinea pigs'. There are plenty of Euro 6 trucks out there but the bus environment is a lot different, not least the problem with regards to the high exhaust temperatures required, potentially difficult to achieve on a bus which spends a great deal of time either stopped entirely or slowing down with the engine doing no work.
There will be teething problems with Euro 6 and it seems all operators are understandably very keen to let someone else deal with them, although it's a slightly different matter in London. Expect few Euro 6 buses for the provinces until they've proved themselves in the capital. First's recently announced order was entirely Euro 5, for example, although Stagecoach have gone for a few Euro 6s.

i hope the 9 double deckers for Southport can be a DB300 if they can still be ordered or even a Gemini 3 i hope they are at least wright bodied double deckers.
They are for Southport, post edited
Is 1 a spare vehicle then or does the 375/385 actually require 9 buses? I thought it was 8.
