I look forward to riding these in due course. I hope they might be in service by November and will operate on Saturdays. Mind you, I may prefer to wait until Transdev Volvo B9TLs are in service on route X43.
I was hoping to get them on the 273 but I realised there is a low bridge in Stubbins.
How high is Stubbins Railway Bridge as I know some double deckers can actually make it under now problem, I know Rosso's Volvo Olympians can make it under, in fact I'm not sure but I think most of Rosso's decker fleet can fit under it, I'm pretty sure I've seen deckers on 273 and the odd one on 484 in the past
Looking on Google Streetview, it says 14' 3". First sometimes use double deckers on the X35 and I'm sure I've heard of double deckers used on the 273, I think during the days when it ran to/from Todmorden.
Rossendalebus/Rosso have now re-launched their website to build on their re-branding from Rossendalebus to Rosso. The URL has changed as well (link below).

I like the website, except that companies think they are trendy when they don't use capital letters...
I can't find the link to the blog on the site either.

The link is here

Rosso set to run another competing service with First in Bury from the end of the month, according to the Forthcoming Changes to the Bus Network document on the TfGM Committee website.
From 26 January, Rosso will be running a 20 minute frequency each way on services 472 and 474 between Bury and Ramsbottom.
